Wolf’s rain (ウルフズレイン) is a seinen, dark fantasy, dystopian anime series that i absolutely love, and feel is supremely underrated, mostly due to how old it is.the original anime was created and produced by studio bones in 2003, with direction from tensai okamura and music production from yōko kanno. After months of being told to watch the anime wolf’s rain by my friends i figured i’d finally review it and i have to say from what i’ve seen the series could go anywhere. Optimism in tow, wolf's rain is a decent title that could be bound for moderate anime greatness.

Some better than others, and by and large the most common theme is a dystopian, nihilistic vision of the future, and a pervading sense of hopelessness and inevitability. Forget i just said that. Poor pacing issues, vague storytelling, and filler episodes make wolf’s rain a difficult anime to invest in. Beautifully done, and very entertaining. Wolves supposedly died out at the same time, yet the story centers on four humans who turn into wolves. Although i enjoyed and admired much of it, i also, at times, found it to be confusing and felt frustrated at its meandering plot.
