Adapted from the gag manga by koshi rikdo, it (sorta) tells the story of excel. Tv series, 25 episodes year: Too bad she sucks at her job. Despite these mental and physical handicaps they do do their best.I do warn you now, puni puni poemy is two steps away from cool devices as far as sheer perversion goes. Right now that is out of the way lets get started by pointing out what you will not find in the excel saga manga. “man, excel saga is really good, but i just wish it weren't paced so slowly!”. The excel saga anime uses a mostly episodic plotline until close to the end of the series, with the plot of three or four episodes linked together.

And i have to say that the only bad thing about this anime is that it ended. With faithful, frail, fading accomplice hyatt and loyal emergency ration supply mince, she's ready to prove it's all society's fault! Starting at episode 14, she was replaced by larissa wolcott as the voice of excel. The music is chatchy, and the characters realy grew on me, i love them *^_^*.

As a comedy it is laugh out loud funny, with some moments, that although you see coming from a mile away, will crack you up. I honestly didn't enjoy it until about half way through. It parodies just about every anime genre under the sun from sports, to romance, to even specific titles like gundam and fist of. I raised the points for animation as i realised for the style and form it is trying to put thru, its just excelent.(pun) average 10(10)
I will try to explain the general idea with a straight face, though: Despite this, excel saga is an absolutely great anime series. To rule world so he can better it. Each episode has a different story going on inside the main plot, which doesn't unfold until the very end.
Ah, one last word about the soundtrack. If you watch excel saga try not to have any preconceptions or expectations before you start. The animation is of average quality for a television anime; Mike crandol of anime news network puts it in the same class as airplane!
